Project Details
The Boyd Station Road Multi-Modal Improvements project upgrades approximately 3,500 feet of roadway from McFee Road to the eastern boundary of the Grove at Boyd Station subdivision. The work brings the corridor up to Town standards for a major collector and includes roadway widening, new storm drainage infrastructure, and construction of a greenway with a grass buffer to support safer, multi-modal use.
A new roundabout at the Boyd Station entrance to the Grove subdivision will improve traffic flow and enhance safety for drivers and pedestrians. The project is being delivered as part of the development process, with the developer responsible for design and construction.
The Town of Farragut is partnering in the project through a cost-sharing agreement that includes the roundabout, half of the roadway widening, and approximately 400 feet of additional roadway improvements extending from the Homestead property to McFee Road.
